A Novel Change
Rosemary Stevenson has a masters degree in Library Science. When she was downsized from her last post, she spent some time doing temp jobs and part time work. She kept sending out resumes, “I had twelve different variations of my library resume, but all I got was someone saying I was overqualified. It was frustrating.”
Seeing a flyer for ASSETS at her church she quickly applied. “They helped me hone in on my skills,” said Rosemary. Now in ASSETS Marketing Specialist Trainee program Rosemary uses the things she learned in her past, while reaching out to the community.
